Please join us in welcoming renowned artist Kathy Sosa of San Antonio,
Texas, for a special presentation of paintings from her 2007 show at the
Smithsonian Institute, part of the Mexico at the Smithsonian Exhibit.
The collection depicts women wearing huipiles - colorful, handwoven garments
of Mexico and Guatamala in the Mayan tradition that dates back to before
the conquest.
